It is located in the back part of the church of Santiago in Adragonte. It is a tomb antropoid shaped ( human figure) previous to the XIII century.

These tombs seem to be linked to the churches. Most of them of distant origin, or in this case related to a modern construction that was located in the place of an older one.

The tomb in Adragonte represents , in many aspects , a singular case within the style of this anthropoid tombs as for instance its rounded form and a simple decoration which appears on the lid.These features make us to think that the location it would be at first sight in a relevant place in the interior of the church. On the other hand, the forms are of the same kind. This make us think that it was not made due to any fashion but the tomb has something personal as if there was a human form on it. This means that seems to be the exact and complete fixed together that we never see but that we can clearly guess.

All these features make this piece something very important in the Galician cultural heritage.
