In a “Paradise between rivers”, like Paderne, the mills determined once, the people of the village´s jobs, by taking benefits of the water for the construction of a great quantity of mills.

In this route, there are 14 mills of different importance and which is well preserved.

From “ A Pedreira”, Adragonte, going on by “ O Casal” and going up by a path towards the South , we arrive to the mills in O Casal; crossing the river and next a deviation towards the West.

At the end of this slope ,in the crossroads of paths in San Mamed, going down towards the North up to a crossroad in which it is recommended to take the West direction. This path take us to “O Canteiro”. By crossing River Meizoso, go down up to the mills which have the same name as the river. In this place, going up by this road towards the North. After some bends, walk by a path towards the West until crossing a small road , going on straight in direction to Quintas.

There take another path which goes down to some houses crossing under the high tensión cable, and then arrive to the big mill in Quintas

There take a beautiful path which goes down very close to the river where there are a lot of mills. Going on by it you arrive to the mill in Teixeiro and the old sawmill.

From Teixeiro and going on up the river, you arrive without any difficulty to Chelo, a place where this route ends.
