In this route , walk by a path at the banks of River Mandeo from Teixeiro until de little central O Zarzo.

River Mandeo establishes a natural división between the town council of Paderne and the town councils of Betanzos and Coirós.

Going on from Teixeiro towards the East by a path at the banks of the river which goes to Chelo,which is a fishing preserve in in which it was found an old mill which was very important in the surroundings because many people came there from Betanzos and Pontedeume to mill the grain.

Going on by the river, it is O Bócelo, an old health -resort which had a great importance in the 30s in the last century until the moment that a fire give place o a health-resort in ruíns in the 40s.

The suphurous waters of this health resort were sused as a drink to cure liver disseases and also as baths for the rheumatism and skin troubles.

Going on by this path, at the banks of the river, where it is the little central O Zarzo , afluent of the Mandeo, a place in which the strenght of the water is used for the production of the electricity.

This route is ideal to enjoy Nature.
