It is located in Montecelo, parish of San Pantaleón das Viñas. It was built in front of the Romanesque church in the middle of a landscape of groves , meadows and irrigated lands.
The simple frontage like a lateral turret, which hardly surpass the building´s eaves, has as the only decorative element a well worked shield sheltered by a gown and a crown indicative of the Spanish nobility or of the high dignity of the militia government. This shelter is thought not to belong to any of the people of the house. These signs would be related to any property of Mr Pedro de Aldao Barbeito Master of Country of Sicily and Catalonia´s army and elected viceroy of Navarra . He is directly related by marriage to Bermudez de Castro of the House of Gondar and also as the nephew of this character called by himself Pedro de Aldao , Master of the country gobvernor of Henault and head of the division of Valladares.

In the shield, the slope offs, the five fleur -de-lis of Aldao, the band of Drangantes in Ponte and other badges can be seen. None of them seem to be related to the Fajardo, Somoza,, Alfeirán and Posada families which in the old day and a coat of arms at home which remembers to the so-called founders ant to Andrade´s.
The first lord known of this house is Mr . Fernando Fajardo de Andrade, married ot Mrs. Felipa Somoza and Alfeirán who lived in 1683. This coupl linked some properties like the Tower of Silan and the country house to San Pantaleón das Viñas. Both of these properties were near Viveiro. Their daughter Mrs. Gertrudis got married to a familiar Mr Juan Bermúdez Fajardo de Andrade, owner of the ilustrious House of Gondar in the vicinities of Pontevedrq. He was the son of Mr Antonio Bermúdez de Castro and Aldao and of Mrs Maria Fajardo de Andrade.
