It is located in the parish of San Juan of Vilamourel . This centenary winepree which could be 250 years old, is at the bank of a path in an area where water NACE , something which greatly contributed to its deterioration.

It is made up of an enormous rafter which was brought from the parish of Quintas , Xuncal , according to some neighbour´s opinions.

In old days, wood was used there. But as the time goes on and due to the few cares it was given , it was getting in worse conditions and it was nceccessary t carpenter in this area to build another winepress. But this last construction was not very good built as the wood was a little grren and it jus lasted three or four periods. Because of this fact, the person in charge of the winepress had to order to build another one.

The old spindle had a head with a lowering in which there were some horizontal pieces of wood because the stone had a hole over it where the head of the spindle was put. This stone had four faces, the widest one. Moreover, in both sides the stone was lowered up to the center which was where a piece of wood was inserted in because as it was wider on its lower part,it became a funnel . In the highest part it had some horizontal pieces of wood which got caught on the lowest part , let the spindle to fasten in the wood and this didn´t allow it to escape.

In the highest part an old shell is still preserved. The rafter has a cuadrangular hole where you can put a shell through. At the same time, the shell is crossed by a spindle vertically to go up and down. Moreover, the old spindle , made of wood, has another horizontal hole near the end to puta crossed stick with the aim of turning. It was so oiled that due to the strenght that the stone did, it turned aside by itself as it was hung. Because of that they had to use a stake, avoiding in such a way the stone move backwards and give a big fright.

In the back aprt, the wall , has a hole with two stones which have a hole placed vertically a height of 50 cm. The rafter has another hole which coincides with the previous one because it was inside and axis.

When the proccess of extraction of the grapejuice took place, the grape wastes were left in the house of the person in charge of the winepress an were used to fetilize the lands until the run became to be distilled. From this last moment every person began to take them home.

When this proccess of extraction of grapejuice took place, the owners which were a great quantity, agreed in taking turns between them by going to the house of the person in charge of the winepress . They do this with the aim ofsharing out the turns and do not obstruct this works one each other.
